St James Palace

Replicating Heritage Joinery Design

The Details

The unrivalled attention to detail we provide for our heritage and conservation projects led to our selection to create exact replications of the original entrance gates at the prestigious St James Palace which date back to 1536. Replicating historic features and heritage sites provides extra levels of scrutiny and pressure which we believe we thrive under.

Our Work

In order to complete work on the world-renowned palace to the highest possible standard we conducted a thorough survey of the original gates. The team removed a small section of every intricate moulding detail and produced detailed CAD drawings, ensuring every detail was considered and replicated. Using traditional hand carving joinery techniques, our team ensured this high-profile prestigious property was precise to the last millimetre.
