Design Process

From the moment the design intent is received, we consider aesthetics and practicality to develop the best manufacture design solution, incorporating full specifications and complex detailing. We can interpret any sketch supplied and convert it into a workable manufactured solution. Additional ideas can also be offered in concept sketch form, providing further options for our clients.

Conversion to 2D/3D

Using the latest 3D solid modelling software, 2D drawings are converted into 3D solid models, allowing clients to visualise their designs. This process allows the incorporation of non-timber related materials and direct integration with CNC technology, improving dimensional accuracy and faster production.

Visualisation

Frequently, we receive 2D drawings with basic material specifications. The beauty of our 3D visualisation is it allows our clients to see a final visual combining, form, material finishes and colour. This eliminates surprises and allows for any design changes at an earlier stage.

Specialist Design Software

Designing using specialist manufacture software creates a seamless, fluid process from design to manufacture. Design data is exported directly to our CNC optimisation technology, guaranteeing unbeatable efficiency and precision.

Manufacture

Every design is unique, and our joiners and wood machinists are heavily involved in the design process to ensure the best manufacturing techniques are fully considered and implemented to achieve the best results.

Assemblies

Our 3D work ensures a seamless manufacturing flow process from part to final assembly and site installation. Bringing together all parts in 3D, internally and from our suppliers, allows us to ensure there is no interference within the final assembly. This contributes towards a zero-mistake philosophy.

Safe Installation
